What attracts people to the Virginia Beach?

People also term Virginia as the mother of Presidents, since eight famous U.S. Presidents were born over here. Presidents include John Tyler, Zachary Taylor, William H Harrison, George Washington, James Monroe, James Madison, Woodrow Wilson and Thomas Jefferson. Maybe, this is the sole reason of why the state is politically competitive.

The Virginia Beach city situated along the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean is the 42nd biggest city in the U.S. This lies at the South Hampton Roads area. One has the option to choose from a varied range of hotels, guesthouses, motels, and resorts adjoining the beach and the oceanfront. Rather, there’s one to suit everyone. Three army bases are situated over here, along with many corporations. You can also find two universities. Sports are an important part of the people of Virginia. Motor sports are the primary attractions. NASCAR racing is the most famous motor sports since 1962. With its long beach and the huge ocean, water sports are also enjoyed and encouraged by the tourists as well as the residents Virginia. Swimming, surfing, water ball games and water motor sports form the basic among water sports.

You can also find the city’s name enlisted at the “Guinness book of Records”, in the category of having the “longest pleasure beach”. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is situated in the southern part of it. This bridge is also the longest one in the world and its name can be found in the Guinness Book of Records.
