If the player's two cards add up to be twenty one, then they automatically win. If the player gets an automatic blackjack, then he or she gets one and a half time the wager placed. However, if the opponent ties the dealer, the player gets their wager back. If the player gets a higher score than the dealer without going over twenty one, then the player wins the amount equal to their bet. Like other card games, blackjack is sometimes played with other betting options. Casinos and even casual games of blackjack can be played with different betting options. Some different betting options include Surrender, Early Surrender, and Soft hand. Surrender is where the player can give up their hand and lose half of the wager or bet. Early surrender allows the player to surrender before the dealer checks for a blackjack. A soft hand is a hand that includes an ace.
