Weymouth is an ideal resort for a family to go and see when considering a holiday. It has a wide choice of attractions and the stunning beaches and surrounding area make it a fabulous location to relax as well as have fun.
There is a variety of accommodation on offer including hotels, guest houses, Bed and Breakfast, as well as a selection of self-catering properties based on your finances of course.
Weymouth is not merely sea and sand and has plenty to offer people no matter what your interests. There are numerous sorts of water sports for the more adventurous types to sample and Weymouth and nearby Portland Harbour have become hotspots for windsurfers and dinghy sailors because of the excellent wind conditions these coastlines provide.
Windsurfing of course, is not everybody’s cup of tea and you may want to do something far more soothing. Fishing is a very popular activity and the area is celebrated as a prime site for people who enjoy this pastime. You can fish straight from the pier, or book a trip on one of the many boats that will take you further out to sea where you can try your hand at some deep sea fishing if you fancy.
If you have children you will discover plenty to keep them cheerful in Weymouth. There are many attractions and things that they can do when staying in Weymouth. The Sea Life Park is one the most popular attractions housing a range of underwater creatures from around the world. The kids will also love the Deep Sea Adventure which is one of several play areas available for them and will give the parents an opportunity to visit the Titanic exhibition which is devoted to the most famous ocean liner ever built.
Weymouth also has some fabulous places to eat. You may just want fish and chips or you may desire something a bit more exotic. Whichever your preference you are likely to find it here as Weymouth is always bustling with life and has events taking place throughout the year, so it is no wonder that so many people come back to this town time and time again.
