My mum and dad have had enough of England with our yobs, hoodies and bad weather and have decided to move abroad. “Where are they moving too?” I hear you cry; well they have set their hearts on Spain! Personally ii think they have been watching too much of ‘a place in the sun’ but apparently my dad has done the research and on their budget they can build a villa to the specifications they want and see out their retirement in the sun.
And I for one couldn’t be happier for them, my dad has worked hard all his life and my mum, bless her, worked for 20 years as a teacher so they definitely deserve it. So I have been thinking I would do something nice for them, and decided an appropriate, however clichéd some may say, to throw them a bon voyage party with their friends and family invited. Well as you can imagine this was a logistical nightmare, trying to find a weekend when most of them are available seemed almost impossible. Eventually I had to choose a weekend about 50,000 months in the future but I eventually found a weekend when everyone (nearly) was available and I went about booking the venue.
This proved quite easy once I knew a date, all I needed was a place with a good sized room to have dinner and maybe a little bit of dance floor and either rooms available or a hotel nearby. I had a place booked within the afternoon and invites were sent out the next day. The next and final step was to find a suitable present and because they were moving to Spain and neither of them spoke Spanish I thought I would get them a toaster! Only joking I purchased some language learning software to help them learn Spanish. There are loads available but I decided upon one with lots of languages available which came highly recommended in the bookshop.
Well the big day is only a few months away so I need to double check everything and make sure there are no problems

Attempting to learn a new language is difficult but learning language online can be easier as you can do it in your own time when you are free and can speak to people online and ask for help. I hope my parents can learn Spanish fluently so when I go and see them they can teach me the basics.
